Receive a "Crucial" brand filter that does not fit.

Apparently, from the reviews and images posted for this product, not everyone is receiving the same product. I received two "Crucial Vacuum" branded filters when I ordered this item (Bissell HEPA Media Filter, 32076).

As noted in the review of the Crucial filters, Bissell Style 7, Style 9 HEPA Media Filter; Compare to Bissell Part#32076, these filters are notably short (~1.8mm). Numerically, this may seem like a small difference in tolerances, but it allows a significant amount of air leakage through these gaps.

Bissell No 7 Filter

My upright vac was beginning to blow some foul odors. When I removed the old filter it was dirty and brown. Time to replace the post-motor HEPA filter.

The new Filter arrived in good condition and was a genuine Bissell. The filter is sturdy and should last a while.

Before replacing the HEPA filter, I cleaned the air outlet with a sanitizing wipe. A quick change and the vac is as good as new.

Be sure to clean the other two "sponge type" filters (if your vac has them) for peak performance.

Incorrect Fit for Style 7

Purchased the filter from Amazon.com (vs. the Fulfilled by Amazon vendors), and still did not receive a genuine Bissell product -- a generic version. Also had the same issue as a previous reviewer of the filter being about 1mm to 2mm too small (thus defeating the point of being an air filter). I ended up folding up a piece of flat cardboard to fill in the space -- seems to work OK, but not ideal of course.

In short, poor manufacturing quality on this generic version of the Style 7 Bissell filter.
