This is a great combo!! I am very particular about noise overly particular). These don't bother me a bit. I bought 2 other brands prior to these and I couldn't stand the noise. These new ones are worth every cent. I have one in my little work space and one in my living room. I am going to order another combo for my bedroom and family room. Also on top of the 2 other brands that I took back, I've had multiple air purifiers over the years some given away, so just thrown out some didn't work correctly like the sharper image products). These are the best yet!

Love this air purifier

Have been diagnosed with some lung problems and bought these for the house.
I love them. I put the small one in my room and the larger one out in the living room.
Would recommend these to everyone!

Really Moves and Freshens the Air

I put the large one in my office and the small one in my colleagues office. I run mine on high for a couple of hours first thing in the morning to make the office smell fresher and then turn it down because it is loud and actually cools the room too much with all the air it moves. I don't mind the sound on high (nice white noise). My colleague commented that even the small one will chill him if the air is blowing directly on him.

I can't speak to it's air cleaning ability. I have allergies and can only assume that it is in my best interest to have this running in my office.
